Goals

Be physically healthy:

  1. No more binging and no more purging. I’ve had only one bulimic episode in 2012 and I hope to never have one again.
  2. Be a happy vegan. This requires me to learn to cook and to make sure I’m nourishing my body with the fuel it needs.
  3. Exercise! I aspire to exercise at least 40 minutes each day. Making exercise fun is the best way to ensure it continues, so maybe a little variety will help.
  4. Get more sleep. I clearly am having issues with this when I shouldn’t be. A happy person is a healthy person.

When I lose 10 pounds I get to redye my hair.
When I lose 20 pounds I get to buy two new Ashland candles.
When I lose 30 pounds I get to buy ten dollars worth of stuffed animals at Good Will or another thrift store.

Make good life choices:

  1. I’m aware I’m not going to graduate school today, but will I ever? Be accountable and realistic. Set goals!
  2. Work hard in school, but not at the expense of your own sanity or kindness.
  3. Get a job! Yep. Getting a job is tough, but I have to do it.
  4. Never ignore my finances. I made that mistake once, twice, three times over and it really did not help me in the least.

Be a better person:

  1. It’s great that I spend so much time giving back to the community, but let’s be real. Giving back is nothing without intent.
  2. Loosen up and be kinder. Be thoughtful and fair and be a good listener.
  3. Ditch the negativity. It’s only bringing you down.
