Goals
Be physically healthy:
- No more binging and no more purging. I’ve had only one bulimic episode in 2012 and I hope to never have one again.
- Be a happy vegan. This requires me to learn to cook and to make sure I’m nourishing my body with the fuel it needs.
- Exercise! I aspire to exercise at least 40 minutes each day. Making exercise fun is the best way to ensure it continues, so maybe a little variety will help.
- Get more sleep. I clearly am having issues with this when I shouldn’t be. A happy person is a healthy person.
When I lose 10 pounds I get to redye my hair.
When I lose 20 pounds I get to buy two new Ashland candles.
When I lose 30 pounds I get to buy ten dollars worth of stuffed animals at Good Will or another thrift store.
Make good life choices:
- I’m aware I’m not going to graduate school today, but will I ever? Be accountable and realistic. Set goals!
- Work hard in school, but not at the expense of your own sanity or kindness.
- Get a job! Yep. Getting a job is tough, but I have to do it.
- Never ignore my finances. I made that mistake once, twice, three times over and it really did not help me in the least.
Be a better person:
- It’s great that I spend so much time giving back to the community, but let’s be real. Giving back is nothing without intent.
- Loosen up and be kinder. Be thoughtful and fair and be a good listener.
- Ditch the negativity. It’s only bringing you down.
